China's automotive industry ramps up production to meet growing market orders. In Chongqing's Shapingba district, workers at the Seres factory assembly workshop race to produce an electric vehicle every two minutes. While, in Qingdao, Shandong province, Liuzhou Wuling Automobile Industry Co Ltd's Shandong branch is busy producing auto parts to fulfill orders.

China exported a total of 822,000 automobiles, including EVs, in the first two months of 2024, up 30.5 percent year-on-year, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

During the same period, China's automobile production and sales reached 3.92 and 4.03 million units, respectively, an increase of 8.1 percent and 11.1 percent year-on-year. China's auto exports have maintained a strong performance this year and are expected to continue growing rapidly.
